I down loaded the two files from www.linuxcnc.org/bdi :
printtool-3_44-1_noarch.rpm
control-panel-3_13-1_i386.rpm
and copied them to a floppy which I stuck into my Linux BDI machine,
clicked on the Floppy icon on the desk top and I get an error saying:
Mount: can't find /dev/fdo in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab
Now is the problem that the disk is in a DOS format and Linux can't
read it?
Once I get Linux to look at the the floppy and display its contents,
where do I copy the files to?
If I am using the terminal mode, what would the commands be?

I don't have a home icon on my KDE desktop that comes on when I boot
up. So I can't get there by this method. Any suggestions?

I assume you do this by clicking on the terminal icon at the bottom
of the screen. That's what I have learned to do.
I have been reading the recent posts and discussions with Weyland -
they have been quite helpful. Hope I can catch up with Weyland's
progress.
And by the way what is HTH? You seem to end all your posts with it.
