RE: Updated RPM for BDI

Is the new Tkemc better than the old one? Why do I want to upgrade? Will it make use of new stuff in the emc file?

Hi Ethan

The new rpm will install new run and ini files for emc, generic, mini, and sim
unless these already exist. In which case, they should remain intact. But it is
a good idea to make backups either to floppy or to another directory.
Your modified Tkemc on the other hand, will be overwritten, so definately save
a copy elsewhere.
Better still, copy the entire rcslib/emc directories to say /home/EMC.
