The yemc will work to show the fourth axis.  You have to define four
(0...3) in the ini file but can leave the coordinates at x y z.  When you
start yemc you'll see the regular axis display.  Change the settings to
joint rather than world and it will show as many as you have defined.  It
labels them 1...n rather than x y z.  With my steppers it will show the
progress of the fourth.  Still can't make my tkemc4 do that.

Concerning the RS274NGC interpreter problem with four axes, Tom Kramer at
NIST replied to my inquiry about the 4 and the vger interpreters,

Yes you do have EMC running and are a pioneer in these parts.  You got me
hooked by a post on rec.crafts.metalworking.  I thought I directed that
comment to another on the list.
