Hi Jack

Do :-

rpm -ivh --nodeps rcslib-rtl3.0.10.i586.rpm

 and the same for EMC - The rtlinux package *should* have declared it's self 
when it was installed. Later BDI versions do, but it looks like 2.04 didn't...
