Re: Learning BDI Emc - Outputs
I got the files you mentioned (rcslib-2.10 and EMC-2.10).
I burned then to a CD and with that CD in the drive I did:
cd /mnt/cdrom
rpm -ivh rcslib-rtl3.0-2.10.i586.rpm
I got the following message:
error: failed dependencies:
rtlinux-3.0 is needed by rcslib-rtl3.0-2.10
I then entered:
more /proc/version
and get the message:
Linux version 2.2.18-rtl3.0 (root-at-B5)(gcc version egcs-2.91.66
19990314/
Linux (egcs-1.1.2 release)) #1 Tue Mar 13 22:43:46 GMT
2001
So now what do I do?
Should I be in a different directory to do the rpm command?
Or do I first have to link something?
Boy, it sure would be nice to have a font that would make it easier
to discriminate between the numeric one and the alpha one. I have
agonized over that numerous times.
