Re: RedHat6.1/linux-2.4.4/rtlinux-3.1/emc-1.1-17/libstdc++-2-libc6.1-1-2.9.0 compiled

Hi Paul,

Thanks, I got the patch down the other day but I haven't managed to make it
work yet (3 tries so far). The problem is that I patch the rtlinux-3.1 files
OK but then when I try to patch rtlinux to the kernel (using
kernel_patch-2.4.4 which seems to be the only one there and also seems to be
the one referred to in the 2.4.16 patch) I get a load of errors saying that
the kernel has been previously patched blahdy blahdy blah.
I initially tried also patching the kernel from the 2.4.16 patch before
applying the rtlinux patch but I realised that this was probably not the
right sequence and gave all the same errors anyway. I did, of course, clean
things down and reinstall the kernel and rt sources between tries.

The kgcc thing seemed to work OK as I have built a 2.4.16 kernel without
rtlinux successfully - this is against a RedHat 7.2 installation.
