 On RH7.1 and 7.2 you will need to use egcs in place of kgcc - You'll also 
need to make sure that compat-egcs.rpm is installed along with a couple of 
others required to satisfy dependencies.

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=27386 is the link for 
the 2.4.16 patch. I need to set up a clean install before I can give this a 
go.
