Fresh Meat for EMC was Re: IMO



Thanks for the invite. I would like to understand what sort of 
tasks/skills match-up I might have. So I need to under stand the scope 
of the tasks. I have been following several related news groups and have 
a bit of insight but need more. Maybe the source-forge list would be a 
better place to lay out a roadmap. I need to see if my SF account is 
still active and make sure I am on the EMC list. I am sure y'all would 
like to know more about me.

A couple of suggestions: How about a Linux style even version number 
stable, odd unstable so the world can keep track. Also as the "complete 
overhaul" progresses to rewrite, #ifdefs-ness, crypto-comments, 
convolutions, redundancies, duplications, can the variable soup, and 
standards compliance, those portions of the code should be GPL'ed.
