Hi Paul I got the problem solved. downloaded the cvs of gcc3.2 and compiled with configure without any options.( Only required for EMC & rcslib ). this made the programs and ran without any problems. So the problem is in gcc3.2 that is supplied with Mandrake 9.0. Only thing not test yet is weather the whole lot can be recompiled for Athlon or has to stay as K6 Jason.
