using steppermod or freqmod?
stepper motors are pretty slow. You need lots of volts available
, say 10x the nominal motor voltage , to get much speed out of them.
and the realtime parts of emc will limit you to say 10k steps/second
anyway (depending on your ini settings)
you need to supply a little more relevant information.
