List, please help...
While I have been retrofiting my mill for EMC, I
have interested a friend in a possible "home-brew" EDM machine using
EMC.
I know John Elston's page has a simple schematic,
but he is looking for more control.
Once upon a midnight hour I surfed a website (Hobby
CNC related) that had a schematic for feeding some kind of pulse back into a
stepper whenever the EDM electrode has "blown away" enough material and made the
gap between the workpiece and the electrode. I KNOW that it was on a hobby CNC
site. I just can't remember where.
If anyone has info like this, please let me know.
