Hi Folks
I recently acquired a PCI digital IO card - Basically three 8255 chips and a
PCI bridge to give a total of 72 IO pins.
Is there much demand to write a driver to run stepper motors and bridgeportio
all from the one card ?
With the pessimists forcasting the imminent death of both the parallel port
and the ISA bus, it may be worth looking at alternatives. What is the
majority opinion on this ?
Regards, Paul.
BTW. The card in question is an Amplicon PCI272.
