Re: How to get a signal to controll spindle speed?



A 5khz pwm will be challenging for rtlinux to 
generate.

I'd suggest a single chip micro, listening to 
direction, increase and decrease pulses, 
generating the pwm.  A PIC or the like.

Do you know what PWM mark-space limits you need, 
and how that should relate to the control signals.
