You're way beyond me here but it seems to me that all of the modules that are 
placed in emc/plat/realtime/lib are constructed during a compile of the 
sources.  Did you have other driver modules in there after your compile?

IMO Sim does not use any real-time stuff so it's running only tests the 
nonrealtime stuff.

I take it that you are using a 2.2 kernel and the rtlinux stuff appropriate 
to that.  Do you use the standard ./install script.  If so there will be a 
bunch of log files left in the install from directory.  Are these all empty?
