    I currently have a small Taig mill that is not CNC but is helping me
build a larger CNC unit.  Currently I am not using EMC.  I have been using
various DOS programs to excercise the different axis mechanisms and
steppers.  I plan to implement EMC after the machine is complete (a couple
more months, lacking an unforseen infusion of capitol).  By that time I
could easily be using entirely different equipment (computer etc.) but
currently I expect to use an  ECS motherboard, XP1600 AMD processor, 256 Meg
Ram, Microsoft XP (when not playing with CNC stuff).
