Hi Folks
I have always found the licensing agreement from FSM Labs that accompanies
rtlinux-3.x to be irksome. Whilst the patent claims are, in my opinion,
somewhat dubious.
A couple of links were sent to me recently with some good news, it would
appear that the Free Software Foundation considers FSM Labs license to
contravine the linux kernel license. After some lengthy negotiations, FSM
Labs have agreed to alter their terms.
See http://slashdot.org/yro/01/09/17/2056231.shtml for details, and
http://www.linuxdevices.com/news/NS1998372965.html for the story behind it.
Regards, Paul.
