More crash mode

Matt and I have been in an email conversation with Dave Engvall about some
EMC crash problems with his extended parallel port card cage.   

For those who are not familiar with this hardware extension, Matt and Jon
have been working on a card_set/chip_set that use EPP as a buss/portal
between the EMC and motors and IO.  I watched both stepper and servo
versions work at the NAMES (North American Model Engineering Society) fest
and was very impressed.  The stepper version connected to a Sherline blew
away everything else in the show for speed and smoothness of 3d contouring.

If I understand correctly, this hardware uses wrappers similar to the
stgmod.o stuff that enables the link.  Dave has experienced crash problems
that sound very similar to what I am seeing with steppermod.  

Is it possible that the bug we are seeing is in some of the motion modules
that are common to all installs but become obvious with some of the
compiled modules and not others?

Since I have seen this bug/bugs on all versions of EMC and RT, I'd like to
see us develop a comprehensive debug plan on list.  Those of us with crash
mode problems can run each suggested step and report results back for group
study and fix.
