Note that the file doesn't "gunzip" right for some reason:
gunzip: XmEmc.gz: unexpected end of file
However, running "zcat XmEmc.gz > XmEmc" produces
an executable that works (after "chmod +x XmEmc") even
though it also complains.
zcat: XmEmc.gz: unexpected end of file
Anyhow, please try it and let me know if it's a bust (or not).

The XmEmc linux executable doesn't interface to EMC yet
(in other words, rtlinux is not required).
It is a self-standing dummy GUI that can be run independently
to get a glimpse of where my coding effort is heading
and hopefully get feedback from anybody that tries it.
Note that the spindle has dummy data to show
how controlling might behave.
This is a Motif-stlye application intended to be used
with a touch-screen X-Windows on Linux intended as
a replacement for xemc (and yemc).
Try it and let me know what you think.
The executable was gzip. To unzip, simply do the
following after downloading: gunzip XmEmc.gz
