6 steppers, half success



Hi all!
You were absolutely right, i need a pullup resistor. I bought 4 x 2.7kohm
yesterday and soldered them in. I connected them to my external 5V that has a
common ground with the PC through my interface card. Now in the initial state i
have 4.94V on step Motor 4 and 5 and on dir Motor 4. On dir Motor 5 I have 0.4
V. This is the other way round from what i expected, because in an EMC DOC i
read that only dir 5 is inverted. In another document i read that only the three
others of the 4 open collector outputs are inverted. This misunderstanding has
surely to do with the cirquit built around it by the authors. This is no
problem.
What is more a problem and this is why i think i have only half success, is that
these outputs dont ever change. I have looked at emcmot.c and it looks ok from
the first view. I remember once i looked at code i didnt see a difference made
between Motor <=4 or >4.
Has anybody encountered the same problem with February EMC ?

btw, is there anybody interested in the stepper motor controller+driver card I
made with the ericsson chips? Anybody who would like to make a layout for a
6Motors-unipolar-bilevel-0.3Ampere-5 to 30V Stepper Motor board?
