Re: Running the EMC program
In Tkemc, when you open a file, the default file extension is set for *.ngc
or maybe *.nc. I believe that this can be changed to look for other
extensions, but I always use the *.* filter and look at all the files in my
directory. Since I use Vector, my default extensions come out as *.tap
With Xemc, you're left in the dark as far as seleting file names. When I
run it, I use another X terminal and list the files in the direcetory where
they should be with " ls *.tap"
It takes a while with X and linux, but after a bit of use it grows on you.
