may 5 install

 I am going to try the may 5 install of emc, on redhat
6.1 release. I need to know if I understand this
properly.


Install rh6.1 -- cdrom
Replace kernel source with 2.2.13 -- from linux ftp
install rtlinux 2.0 for linux 2.2.13 -- from linuxcnc
put emc 5 may in /usr/local
untar
./install

  and then try to figure out any problems?

Any hints?

I have the rh5.2 working with a rel of emc from last
year, but would like to see the new changes, especialy
the fix to circular interpolation that caused the
runaways.
