EMC - problem

Hi,

I have a problem .... I have just installed the Dec 1999 release of EMC and
now, when I try to do an ./emc.run or ./generic.run (I haven't tried any of
the others) the porgram starts as far as 'installing steppermod.o' and then
instantly reboots. Any ideas what might be wrong?
