I imagine many folks are using the BDI _only_ to run a CNC machine,
in which case they can ignore this.
If you use the BDI 2.18 or 2.19 disks to set up a general purpose
Linux PC, do not use the version of kmail that is on the CD as your
mail client. It is version 1.0.28, which contains a bug that can result
in lost messages if used after Sept 9, 2001. I found out the hard way...
The official bug report is at:
http://kmail.kde.org/bug.html
The TNG BDI uses a newer version of KDE and kmail, and does
not have the problem. There are also alternate mail clients
included on the 2.18 and 2.19 BDI disks that should work OK.
