I decided to re-work TkEmc for one of my own projects, and as a first step 
I've refactored the code to make it more readable and simpler in many ways.

Who is the TkEmc author then? I'd like to share my re-working of the code 
with him/her before I release it so they can comment ... and if they feel its 
an improvement it can go in the next release
