The PPMC (analog servo) setup was not aimed at the hobbyist crowd. It uses
the best of everything, and the basic set has over $80 of connectors in it.

The Universal Stepper Controller definitely WAS aimed at the hobbyist
market,
and uses very cheap wire terminals, and a minimum of any other parts, to
keep
the cost down. Its main purpose was to put everything you needed on one
board
for either closed-loop steppers or higher-speed operation than can be
done with
software generated step pulses. I've advertised products before, at the
$2000
price level. I just don't know if it makes any sense to advertise a
product like
this with such a narrow market. I will be working on getting it supported
by Mach2, as well, which should help things.
