I've got a CNC Sherline mill with a rotary table that I'm going to deliver to 
NIST in a couple of days. I'm going to demonstrate this problem to the guys 
there and see what they think. I'm sorry that this problem has persisted for 
so long, but the folks at NIST haven't had a machine (with a 4th axis) to 
test this behavior and that's my fault for taking so long to build one... I 
started on it in May of this year and my regular work and other distractions 
have kept me from finishing what should have been a simple project. I've got 
a customer with a servo machine (who makes clocks, and thus cuts gears) that 
really needs the angular axis problem fixed as well so I know it's important 
to resolve this issue.
