I'm not USING them, exactly.  They are ALLOCATED for use in the 
software.  I don't
use individual servo amp enables, and I don't sense individual amp 
faults at all.  I have
the amps cause an E-stop on any fault, and they are enabled outside the 
STG card by
a solid state relay run from the parallel port.  This is not a Servo to 
Go limitation,
but the way the software I use (EMC) was set up.  If I really wanted to 
use all that
I/O, I could have hacked into the program(s) as it is open-source.  But, 
I just didn't
want to bother.
