BDI updates?

Can anyone tell me if there is a list or history of changes for the bdi.i
am running an older version of bdi and everytime it is updated i wonder
if i should also update.but due to the problems of install i don't know
if it is a worthwhile thing to do.maybe if i knew what the changes were
it might persuade me.
