Random following erorrs mostly, The machine
I retrofitted has rack & pinion drive, originally
had 40:1 zero backlash reducers and servomotor
with syncros. The gantry is 13' long. (if you've ever
seen a esab cnc router, it's the same machine)
work surface is 101" x 148".
I'm at the point of working my ass off and just
getting 3 340s and using the original motors and
gearboxes, with an encoder directly driven off the
rack(the syncros were originally mounted this way.
(just gotta find the $$$$)
