Ray,
Thanks. This stuff is very helpful. Now I can see what STG pin I'm
actually assigning to the functions in the INI.
But now when I look at the default settings in the [EMCIO] section i
can see that these assignments are invalid for my servo-to-go card:
; digital out bits
SPINDLE_DECREASE_INDEX = 8
SPINDLE_INCREASE_INDEX = 9
ESTOP_WRITE_INDEX = 10
SPINDLE_BRAKE_INDEX = 11
Because the digital output indexes 8,9,10,11 dont map to any STG pins.
Obviously these defaults are for the parallel port. So what are the
recommended assignments for a servo-to-go card? I dont want to
accidentally assign ESTOP_WRITE to a pin that is already assigned to a
function I need.
So, to anyone out there with a servo-to-go card:
what are your [EMCIO] ini settings for digital IO?

... Sorry about that.
