Agreed,
I'll be doing the board and the eventual port of emcmot in some form or
other anyway. Just thought it might be productive to see if there where
people with similar plans, and if so, if there were enough similarities in
the plans to set up some sort of collaborative effort.
But I agree that it's probably wise to concentrate on any cleanup issues
first before getting sidetracked by this sort of stuff. I do not entirely
agree on the driver issue being different.
As was said before it could be used to prove and improve the modularity of
EMC. The form such a driver takes would directly be influenced by any concrete
plans (or lack thereof) concerning the code. But I'll keep it to the software
side from now on then.
