Feeding single GCODE lines to the interpreter without stopping the motion
Hi,
first of all, thanks for all people at NIST and all the others that keep
this list alive and provide wonderful help. I've not been able to try EMC on
a real machine yet, but I hope to be able soon, as my time schedule gets
less populated.
I want to use EMC for a machine that gets its motion path from a camera
system. For this, it is necessary, that I send a single vector (G01...)
first, and while this vector is processed, the camera system calculates the
next vector, which will then separately be fed to the GCODE interpreter. I
intend to do this using a C program that calls rs274ngc_execute() directly.
My question is: Will EMC recognize, that a second vector has been added
while processing the first vector, and not stop after the first vector, but
move on to the second without stopping the motion between them?
Best regards
Markus
