compile problem

I'm trying to build an EMC from yesterday's sourceforge stuff and run into a 
problem that I think is related rcslib.so.  I get one when I compile the 
rcslib stuff, but when I get into building the emc it seems to trip over 
something that is left undefined within rcslib.  The relevant error message 
and the location of the trip is
