There really isn't a graphical editor that can be used with it. The shell
program, emcsh, adds a number of commands to tcl in order to talk with the
EMC and I've found that these get in the way of the graphical editors that
exist.
Tcl is not a dificult language to learn and there are several texts that
will help a lot with it. The difficulty will be with getting a feel for
where in the tkemcex code you can put new stuff.
You should ask on the emc-at-nist.cov list about the analog signals and see
what people say about them being supported. If they are, I'd be happy to
suggest where you might display them.
