Well. my homemade stepper motor driven router table 
works with the BDI.  I can jog each of the axis.

Motor's chosen are too weak (50oz/inch torque)  to reliably turn 
the lead screws. Shoulda known better.

Ordered some NEMA 34's to resolve the issue.
Can't wait to cut some wood.  Will post results soon.
