Re: qcad problem solved (kind of)

Hi Erich

Due to the desire to include all the html docs on the BDI CD along with the EMC
packages, quite a few of the RedHat RPMs were left out. Most of these were
things like wab servers, games, and a few of the non-core development libs.

Andrew Mustun (qcad's author) is a fan of Qt for much of his work. So to
compile qcad from source, you need to have qt-devel on your system.

[many more lines about missing files]
	In file included from rgraphic.h:30,
	from main.cpp:22:
rlog.h:19: qtextstream.h: No such file or directory
	make: *** [main.o] Error 1

The qtextstream.h is the clue as to which library is missing. Poping the BDI CD
in to the drive, and looking in the "RPM Repository" index, I find qt-devel is
included. This package is not however, installed as part of the standard Brain
Dead options, only the "expert" mode.

Regards, Paul.
