Interpreter startup problem

Hi

I have been using emc11aug with rtl2.0 for sometime now. I now want to
get it running under rtl2.2. I am using Red Hat 6.1 and have built the
rt kernel and the frank test works.

I have built emc using the 1.1-17 tarball, rcs built perfectly and emc
built with only two warnings. When emc is run the kernel modules load ok
but the emc script fails with:-

emctaskmain.cc 2322: can't initialize interpreter

Followed by lots of nml failure messages, the main point of failure
seems to be:-

_shm.c 543: shmget(1002(0x3EA),8192,0) failed: (errno = 2): no such file
or directory

I have tried rebuilding the kernel, rtl and emc several times with the
same result and I think I am most probably doing something really
stupid. Anyone any ideas !
