Re: hardware wrappers

 Max,

thanks for the info, diging the emc.run script I of found it, thanks
for the handbook reference.

Now, the next issue is, I chose the stg_v2_8axis_mod.o file for the
MOT section, but it complains that ioremap is not resolved.

digging around I found in the emcmot.c file it includes the <sys/io.h>
file saying that it will also include the <asm/io.h> file, well for my
system it does not (just insert a #include <foobar.h> in <asm/io.h> and
recomplie it and you'll see it does not complain at all. either with
PLAT=linux_2_2_18 and rtlinux_3_0 (yes, I copied the corresponding def
files.)

I wonder wheter this is a RH, glibc or emc prolem, I am using
glibc-2.1.3-15, tomorrow will get the last version for glic2.1., I let
you know how it went.

I tried running including the asm/io.h file instead but it does not
load succesfully, it stops loading on the inizialization phase. it
should be the same problem for anyother version of rtlinux, since
sys/io.h does not belong to it.

any clues???

I would appreciate if you guys send me what glibc works fine for RH6.2
even for rtlinux 2.2, you can get the info from ...

    rpm -q -f /usr/include/sys/io.h

thanks,
esv.
