Both the balloon and the emchelp tcls are not executable but still show up on the scripts menu.

They shouldn't appear on the scripts menu. What you should do now is make
a new copy of these files exactly the way they were and then change the
properties of the files so that they are not executable. This should make
them dissappear from the menu. (I know, I don't like this either but
that's the way it came out.)

Yea! If you are accustomed to the MS world, there is no difference between
up case and low case. Just limited vision on someone's part a long time
ago. The bit of Tcl that sorts the scripts looks for up case first and
then low case. They ARE different files in Linux!

Are you trying to click on the work offset label or values in the small
letters or on the axis position displays themselves. This is not set
up to work the same as the tool offset.
