hardware wrappers

hello guys, 


  somehow I managed to install RH 6.2 rt3.0 and emc with a stg2 board,
I'm able to start sim.run script, had to add the rtl extension in the
kernel Makefile.

I have a simple, perhaps already documented, question.

how do I specify the hardware I am using, I mean there are a lot of
include, c and c++ files about the stg2 board but I am not sure on how
to specify I am using a specific board at all.

I, as anyone, would appreciate if someone walks me thru, I have no idea
on how to start here.
