RE: Backplotter not working with BDI
One thing I noticed that the version of backplotter that comes with the BDI
(view, backplot) will not work if you start it while a program is running.
You have to open the backplot first, or rerun the program once the
backplotter is open.
Check the scaling factors. I think the default is 40 which worked for me on
a part that was in the 3" range.

Subject: Backplotter not working with BDI
Hi everyone,
I can't seem to get the backplotter, tkbackplot.tcl, to work with the
BDI installed version of EMC. All I get is a small window, about 2
inches square, in the upper right corner of the screen. This window has
a white background and nothing else displayed.
The file tkbackplot exists in the plat/linux_2_2_18/bin and tcl/scripts/
directories, it has execute permission but does not appear to be
working,
There are no error messages displayed and tkemc continues merrily on
it's way processing what ever g-code is fed to it just as if you had
never asked for the backplotter to be active.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
