Hi George,

When you install Linux you should be asked for a 'root password' which needs
to be at least 6 characters long. When you type it in, be careful to keep a
note of EXACTLY how you enter it as Linux is case sensitive - that is, if
you type a capital letter at the start of the password, you must ALWAYS type
a capital letter there.
When linux boots up you are asked for a user and password. For the user,
type 'root' and then enter the password you put in during the install
process.
You may or may not have been asked to create another 'user', if you were,
you can use this users name instead of 'root' and enter the password you
created for this user but again, remember that everything in linux is case
sensitive so enter both the 'user' and password just as you did during the
install process.
