On the issue of getting rounded corners on the backplotter...  I noticed
that too.  It seemed that the backplotter was taking the data straight from
the Tkemc display so I cured it by lowering the value in the ini file
variable:

[DISPLAY]
CYCLE_TIME

I don't remember what I put in there but it was about 1/2 the origional
value and it seemed to solve the rounded corners problem.
