Re: Threading under EMC
Chris,
I Don't know the complete series of options for the g33 or g44 commands
yet, ive always used g76 up to
the point i started running an old GE1050, ill paste a segment of threading
code below
N0360 Z-01.560 T013
N0365 X+02.670 F001
N0370 X+02.500 F1
N0375 Z-00.850 T014
N0380 X+02.943
N0385 G33 Z+00.100 K0.08333
N0390 G01 X+02.900 F1
N0395 Z-00.850
N0400 X+02.948
N0405 G33 Z+00.100 K0.08333
N0410 G01 X+02.900 F1
N0415 Z-00.850
N0420 X+02.953
basicly from what i understand, is this and this could be done with say a
single photo counter on the spindle
when the g33 get the start motion command from the spindel it will move to
point Z at feedrate K.
this sample starts inside the part and moves outward to the face or Z+00.100
this is a very old machine, all of the code is in radius and non real true
tool geometery, its odd.
I hope this helps
phil
