EMC problems with RPM from source force

Hello,

I just downloaded the emc-1.1-17.i386-rtl2.2rpm from source force and
got the rtlinux rpm from rtlinux.org, installed both and this is what I
get when I try to run emc.

Sim.run works fine, but emc.run provides me with this set of errors.
Can this be fixed or will I have to recompile?

Current platform is linux_2_2_14
Current real-time platform is rtlinux_2_3

version mismatch
 plat/rtlinux_2_3/lib/steppermod.o was compiled for kernel version
2.2.14-rtl2.2
 while this kernel is version 2.2.14-rtl2.3

plat/rtlinux_2_3/lib/steppermod.o: unresolved symbol pthread_create
can't install it
