OK, I am either missing something or being incredibly stupid (probably the
latter). I have put the may12rev.tgz in the emc directory and done tar -xzvf
may12rev.tgz and it runs file with the new file Dan gave me. I go to the
plat/nonrealtime/bin directory and I see tkemc, tkbackplot, and genedit. Now
I launch emc with my ini file specifying tkemc.

All I get is the standard tkemc. There are no additional entries in the view
menu to bring up backplot and I don't see how to run scripts.

How do I get these things to work??
