Question to Fred



Fred, 

Last week I asked Jon Elson about the Idea of simulating a servo motor
with feedback, when there is no feedback, using freqmod.
He answered to ask you, so here it is.

The stepper should follow the commanded path exactly if it's maximum
velocity and
acceleration are not violated.
Can you tell me the idea behind the servomotor simulation? 

With the simulation, how should the stepper without feedback be tuned and
what kind of
effect does this have, should I set the P-Gain to a very high number?
