Hi there,
My name is Luc Vercruysse.
I live in Ieper, a small town in Belgium near the French border and about
30km away from the nord_sea_coast (and the last couple of years famous for
it speech technology center Flanders Language Valley).
I use a small , home made, milling machine with steppers. It runs for this
moment on a embedded system with some home brew software that converts HPGL
plotfiles into movements for the 3 axis (using Bresenhams line algoritme
expanded for 3 axis). With the EMC software I want to learn more about the
interpolation principes, look ahead thechniques ....
the machine was constructed for milling my printed circuit boards (I am
still looking for sotware that traces the contours of a given HPGL plot
file)
At this moment I was not able to set up the EMC software but I'm getting
close (with some help from another person in Belgium who run's EMC, Thanks
Jan..).
Luc.
