Jan-2000 EMC

Hi all

I've got hold of the Jan release of EMC, and after trashing a hard drive - had
some trouble with an ide0 interface.Having re-installed RH5.2 and rebuilt the
RT kernel - several times, until the ide fault was isolated. - I have now hit
another problem.
At the moment, I can't seem to get several of the PLAT=linux_2.0.36 modules
compiled, and the plat/rtlinux_09J/bin directory is empty. Just tried an
install wit the Sept release, still missing all the rtlinux_09J/bin entries.

Whilst sufficient modules compile without too much trouble to enable a virtual
machine to run, I would like to run all the RT code at some point.
The RT kernal is installed and compiled in /usr/src
EMC in /usr/local
RH5.2 - everything installed, just in case....

Am I missing a vital component, or is there some changes that need to made to
the Make files ? - not that I want to touch them, knowledge of C = zero.
I have generated an error log from the compile, the seems to be quite anumber
of warnings generated. Mainly variable_so_n_so defined but not used and a
couple of warning implicit declaration of function.

Any help would be greatly appreciated - then I can get back to playing with
the 3D backplot Ver 2.

Regards, Paul.
