I dropped four files in the linuxcnc.org dropbox.  

genedit.zip is the latest versions of this file that adds a menu item for
reloading text into the tkemc program window.

geneditzip.txt describes the fix and how to integrate this file into your
emc. 

tkemc.zip is the latest versions of this file.  This fixes the program
window update problem and file name display runover. 

tkemczip.text tells about the fixes and how to integrate this file into
your emc.

These should be up soon if the box is working and if I understand how to
use it.

Fred mentioned another way to upgrade these.  Until then these files will
be the ones used for current versions.  Updates will be announced on this
list.
